Homes First was the first and is still one of the largest providers of finding housing for people with the fewest options in Toronto for more than 40 years now. Those people without shelter most often suffer from mental illness and addictions.
It was very fitting that this signature fundraiser was held November 15th at the Toronto Reference Library in the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon with the theme titled “Chapters of Hope”. Yes many stories were shared this evening by staff and residents underscoring the importance of this organization to the community.
Programs offer emergency shelter, supportive housing and necessary, essential support services to break the cycle of chronic homelessness to Home Full. The mission continues to build a future where no one is left behind. Each client resident has their own story of a struggle now on a way to stability and a better life.
Once again FITZROVIA returned as lead sponsor and guests were treated to an exciting menu by 10tation Event Cathering while bidding on the expansive silent auction. Through ticket sales and the silent auction, the 2025 fundraising goal was surpassed and that will help many more individuals.
