The 36th Annual Dragon Ball took place January 25th, just ahead of the Lunar New Year welcoming the Year of the Snake.

This is the signature fundraising event supporting the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation. To date the Dragon Ball has raised more than $23 million for the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, supporting operational expenses and development plans, most recently, a new centre under construction in Scarborough.
Following the lavish Grand Reception, a stage show featured a percussion performance, traditional Chinese folk dances and the outstanding lion dance that were just some of what was to come later with the grand finale being the “Golden Snake Dance”.
The Dragon Ball is one of the largest and longest running gala events in North America supporting an aging population that needs care and also celebrationg the Chinese New Year with the message of transformation, renewal, wisdom and mystery.
Our thanks to Zoe Li for the invitation to attend.
