The 14th annual after Breast Cancer (ABC) Pink Diamond Gala returned September 27th to the Bellvue Manor to celebrate the lives of women and sometimes men, who are survivors of this horrible disease.
By offering resources, education and encouragement to women and their families, this organization empowers survivors to reclaiming their confidence and live with dignity, once again feeling good about themselves. Here is where healing really starts.
This all began with a vision from the ABC Founder & Executive Director, Alicia Vianga that now has assisted upwards of 5,000 women. It was a full afternoon agenda for the Board of Directors and Ambassadors as they recognized and welcomed keynote speaker and cancer survivor herself, Jeanne Beker along with Silvana Tibollo for a Fireside Chat that touched on very person moments of living with and recovering from, breast cancer.
Throughout the afternoon volunteers were on hand to meet guests and explain programs like the S/HE THRIVE Workshop.
Entertainment was first – rate with returning performers Duality and Rachel Gililov along with the closing act of BLUSOUL who really brought the dance floor to life with Motown classic hits.
Congratulations to the Board of Directors, so many volunteers, along with loyal sponsors and patrons on this stunning fundraising gala with a purpose.
