The Reservoir Lounge

Reservoir Lounge

The Reservoir Lounge at 52 Wellington Street East first opened in 1997 and has continued to present live music most every night since in this jazz bar and restaurant with a speakeasy feeling as you walk down the staircase into a cavernous room.

Photos lining the walls remind us of the rich history of this space. Over the years Prince, Tom Jones and Rod Stewart to name a few enjoyed the vibe of this lounge not to mention all the actors from the St. Lawrence Centre actress the street after their performances to unwind.

Coming up on 30 years of operation was an excellent reason to invite media and patrons August 26th for a celebration event that featured regular vocalists, many who have performed here for decades back all in one night together.

We enjoyed the talents of Danny B, Xavier Solis, Shane Philips, Janice Hagan and LUCILLE all backed by the William Sperandei Band for grooves of jazz,, Motown and soul. An amazing thing when our city continues to lose live music venues especially downtown where this venue has survived for so long. Congratulations and thanks to Touchwood PR for my invitation
