The 12th Annual Wellspring’s “Well Dressed For Spring” was held March 25th at The Quay rather than previous years in Yorkville Village. I did like the change.
This was a fresh venue just right for an evening of high fashion presented by models of all ages representing families living with cancer. The theme this time was not just to survive, but to thrive and live your best life possible. No one should face cancer alone.
Many volunteers, sponsors and donors are involved to make this a reality. Who better to host the event than long-time supporter and women dealing with own cancer recovery herself, than fashion Canadian icon Jeannie Beker assisted by celebrity fashion stylist Kim Appelt.
Once again presenting sponsors were RBC Wealth Management and Holt Renfrew who styled and provided all the fashions shown on the runway.
Every ticket sold and dollar raised directly supports people living with cancer. Wellspring provides vital programs and services at no charge to ensure that individuals and families receive compassionate support during the most challenging times of their life.
From the early reception Glam Hour to the stunning Walk Of Hope runway fashion show and then closing Delectable Delights dessert affair; this was a very impressive evening for a worthy cause.
