What could more frightening than walking through the lower gardens of Casa Loma in the month of October ?
Legends of Horror presented by Liberty Entertainment Group and Captain Morgan, returned Ocrober 2nd for a legendary 10th season providing what can be called “immersive horror theatre” as those winding trails take you in and out of interactive thematic sets with live actors along with over 40 brilliant animatronics jumping out of the foggy woodlands seldom seen. This night out with 3D projected imagery is a delight for anyone wanting to post any number of awesome photos. Imagine the scariest Halloween movie and you are starring in it of you let out a scream when confronted by a freakie zombie, the worst kind !
If you need a strong drink mid journey to build your courage, once again the Captain Morgan Bar and Lounge will be there with great music and specially crafted spirited cocktails. This space is an event all to itself with a huge dragon looming overhead and guest DJs mixing some excellent beats and tunes
Oh, and this year I found the 800ft underground tunnel to be a chilling whole other level excitment; darker and with more surprising twists before you enter the elborate laboratory of Dr Frankenstein who is always hard at work looking for extra body parts for his experiments.
I was told this experience takes around 8 months in preparation with a dedicated whole costume and technical staff drawing on old and newer themes from horror movies of all types. See how many you can identify within these vignettes.
