The Imperial Room of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel could not have looked more stunning October 24th then it was to celebrate the 2026 Peace Ambassadors Gala & Grand Ball.
Presented by The International Peace Alliance (IPA), this was a gathering of internationally acclaimed artists, filmmakers, humanitarian leaders, diplomats and distinguished guests.
You could say this was totally a glamourous evening of music and culture that recognized 52 films from around the world. These Film For Peace Awards celebrate cinematic achievement across diverse international regions with a common theme of creating peace.
It was a busy night on stage for these awards, but later the focus moved ahead with the elegance of a fashion show and several classical dance performances all part of the Grand Ball that featured a formal waltz to the IPA Orchestra and operatic tenor Romulo Delgado. Bravo !
Thanks to Jack Liu for my personal invitation.
